Length of Position: Minimum 6 months

Description: Maximo Nivel is an Executive Language center with offices in Costa Rica and Peru. We are not a school, nor an institute. We are a professional services company that provides the highest level service to our clients. Instructors will teach 1 to 6 groups daily. Groups include Basic English, Intermediate English, and Advanced English. Qualified individuals may also lead test preparation groups (TOEFL, IELTS, Michigan, Cambridge). Group size is strictly limited to 8 people (Costa Rica) and 12 people (Peru).

Due to an increasing number of clients, Maximo Nivel has an immediate need for ESL instructors at both its Costa Rica and Peru learning centers. Instructors will work 25 to 35 hours per week teaching groups, individuals, and working with client-students.

Highlights: Maximo Nivel's executive language center in Peru is based in Cusco - the archaeological capital of the Americas. Located on the main commercial street, the institute is only 3 blocks from Cusco's historic Plaza de Armas.

Located in the south eastern Andes Mountains, Cusco sits at an altitude of 3,400 meters above sea level (11,000 feet). Cusco is the historic capital of the Inca Empire and is the gateway to the sanctuary-city of Machupicchu. Indeed, Cusco is one of the most spectacular highlights of South America.

Cusco is Not a small mountain pueblo. In fact, Cusco is a cosmopolitan city of 400,000 people. As the tourism mecca of South America, Cusco is the most popular tourism stop-over in the region, with more than 600,000 international visitors per year. However, Cusco is one of those rare places able to preserve its unique character despite its prominence in international tourism.

Stately and historic, with stone streets and buildings that are built on Incan foundations laid down more than five centuries ago, the city buzzes with energy. Once the religious, political, military, and cultural center of the Inca empire, today Cusco thrives as one of the most vibrant cities in South America.

* Native English Speaker
* Bachelors Degree
* TEFL, CELTA, or other TESL certification
* Minimum 21 years old
* Able to commit to a minimum 6 month contract
* Personal Qualities: Dedicated, professional, and passionate about teaching; Strong work ethic; Self-confident with a good sense of humor.

This Program is open to American, Australian, Canadian, European, Kiwi and South African Participants.
