Length of Position: 2 year commitment

Description: Work on a teaching team with two teachers and 14 students in a child-centered, creative, caring atmosphere. Our school works with local students,mostly on scholarships.

Qualifications: Teach pre-school in an environmentally focused school in the Cloud Forest of Monteverde

- Elementary, high school or pre-school teaching credentials (and/or equivalent).
- Three or more years of relevant, successful classroom experience at pre-K through 4th grade or specialties in middle school and high school Math, Science, Humanities (English).
- Experience with environmental/natural history related themes.
- Willingness to make a multi-year commitment.
- Basic Spanish (though instruction is in English).
- Experience with ESL (Although we do not have positions for teaching solely ESL, because it is integrated into the curriculum, experience working with limited English proficient students is beneficial.)   
- Experience in multi-cultural settings.

Salary / Pay: $300/month part time job
