  Oman
    Muscat

Length of Position: 1 year minimum

Description: An elementary/primary level teacher is required for a prestigious private school in Oman. You should have experience of teaching Grades 1 and 2.

About Oman:

Bordering the UAE with miles of beaches, Oman is a beautiful and varied country. For its size, Oman boasts an unprecedented number of UNESCO-classified World Heritage Sites including Al Baleed, site of the ancient city of Zafar, Bat, with its tombs dating back 3,000 years, the Bahla Fort, and Ras al Hadd, home to the rare green turtle.

Oman has devoted a great deal of effort to preserving its traditional arts, dance and music, though you're more likely to see traditional dancing staged in a museum than spontaneously breaking out in a village street. Oman is particularly known for its curved, silver-sheathed khanjar knives and silver jewelry.

A relatively liberal country, alcohol is available in larger hotels and restaurants.
