Description: Counselors lead a variety of outdoor, sports and creative activities such as but not limited to: arts and crafts, drama, dance, horse riding, mountain biking, orienteering, rock climbing, swimming and trekking. A strong emphasis is placed on education through recreation, teamwork, trust building, communication and leadership. Additional responsibilities include supervising during meal times, participating in evening programs and wake-up/lights-out duties.

Highlights: Village Camps has been providing quality summer camp and educational programs to children since 1972. We are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our experienced staff for 2008.

Village Camps runs programs in Switzerland, France, Austria, England and Ireland,   May through October including summer and day camps; English, French and German instruction; Tennis and golf camps; Outdoor education and adventure camps as well as many other exciting programs.

Qualifications: Applicant will have qualifications and/or extensive experience in relevant activities as well as a first aid and CPR qualification issued by a recognized body. Successful candidates will be organized, creative, flexible, adaptable, reliable, patient and professional and have experience in working with children, preferably in a camp or environment. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and fluent in English. Applicants must have nationality of at least one of the following countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, USA.

Minimum Education: Diploma/Certification
