2010 Paid Teaching Positions in Cuernavaca

Length of Position: 1 Semester to 1 Full School Year
Description:
Cultural Embrace provides pre-placement assistance, a 20-unit on-line TEFL certification course, basic major medical traveler's insurance, housing assistance, long-term visa and airport arrival assistance, and pre-departure and local support.
Highlights:
Cultural Embrace offers an exciting and affordable chance for native English speakers to live and teach in Mexico. This is a wonderful chance to provide a service to the local community and explore a new culture...and you will be paid for your efforts! In addition, you will have the chance to practice and master Spanish! Positions are available for all subjects (primarily English), levels, and age groups. Average work hours are 25-30 hours/week. Our staff contacts and reviews the position before each placement and provides support to you prior to departure as well as local representation once abroad.
Qualifications:
Good command of the English language. Bachelor's degree, teacher's certificate, classroom experience, and foreign language preferred, but not required. Responsible and flexible. Must be dedicated to full term of commitment. Capable of lesson planning and enjoy leading groups of people.

Salary / Pay: Local salary (USD13,000 pesos per month = USD800/month) varies on school, location and experience. However sufficient amount to pay for your basic local living expenses.
