Primary/Elementary Teachers Needed in Thailand

Length of Position: 2 years

Description: Select Education has 3 positions open for Primary teachers in Thailand at top International schools starting in January. Using the British curriculum, these schools seek qualified Primary teachers with at least 2 full years of experience to teach all subjects to small class sizes in English. These are not TEFL positions, and teachers with UK experience are preferred. Salary is approximately GBP 1000-1500/month with free accommodation and a very, very low cost of living.

* Outside of Bangkok - KS1 position. Flights, accommodation included.
* Inside Bangkok - Year 4 and Year 3. Flights, accommodation included.


For newly qualified teachers or those with less experience, we also have further positions at a Kindergarten in Bangkok for Early Years teachers starting in July 2006. You must be a qualified teacher Early Years/Primary teacher.

* 2 x Reception/Kindergarten teachers (ages 4-5)
* Year 3 Teacher
* Nursery Teacher (ages 1 1/2 - 2)

The package includes flights plus 1000 USD a month

Qualifications: A Teaching Qualification such as:

Bachelors of Education
Masters of Education
Post Graduate Certificate in Education (Primary/Elementary)
Graduate Teacher Training (Primary/Elementary)

Is required from one of the following countries:

UK, US, Ireland, Canada, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand.

Teachers trained in other countries will be considered only if the candidate has teaching experience in one of the countries above.

This Program is open to American, Australian, Canadian, European, Kiwi and South African Participants.
