Description: GMSC Recruiting based in Vancouver, Canada, has served for over 6 years free of charge to all job seekers. Now, we are recruiting ESL teachers who are interested in teaching in South Korea for one year (one year renewable contract). Friends are welcome to apply!! (public schools and ESL private language academies).

Teacher's duties include teaching conversational English as well as phonics, simple grammars, and vocabulary. You will be provided with all the curricula to follow, and teaching materials. You will have one or two days of orientations before your day of teaching so that you can get some ideas of how others teach. It takes about one month to get a teaching visa assuming that you have a degree/sealed transcript/passport. Otherwise, it will depend on when you have all these documents ready.

2.    Employment starting time: at beginning of each month, (the program runs for a year one year contract)-- Please note the application process is about one month until you go to South Korea if you have all the visa documents (degree, transcript, and passport).
3.    Qualification: citizens of USA or Canada, BA or BS holders (Teaching Degree is NOT necessary)/ no previous experience is required/ teaching certificate is preferred but not required.) Korean skills are not required.
4.    Student age? Elementary school kids // adults // secondary school ages (it depends on which school you want to work with)
5.    Class size? 8-12 with private language academies and 35 students with public schools
6.    Amount of teaching hours per week? 30 hours (or 120 teaching hours per month) with private language academies and 18 hours with public schools.
7.    Monday through Friday.

9.    Salary range? 1,900,000 - 2,300,000 won (Approximately 2,100.00-2,200.00 USD per month) and Income tax: approx. 5%)
10.   Health insurance coverage? YES, it will be covered.
11.   Bonus (one month salary) will be paid on completion of the contract.
12.   Prepaid airline ticket will be provided. (round trips)
13.   Vacation? 10 days plus Korean national holidays (total : about 30 days) with private language schools and 14 working days with public schools.

Qualifications: You have to have BA or BS or higher education. You should be able to present your degree/official transcript/passport.

You have to be a citizen of English Speaking countries.

Minimum Education: Bachelors

Salary / Pay: Monthly salary: 2,200.00 USD / month. If you do NOT require housing, the salary will be 2,500.00 USD / month (this is approximate figure).Bonus will be paid, which is about 2,200 USD on completion of the contract.
