Description: At Bluewave we specialize in finding overseas teachers positions in UK schools. The UK is experiencing a real shortage of teachers across many subjects and we have helped teachers from around the world find great opportunities in schools here.

We don't just focus on London, but work with schools across the UK; from smallish rural schools in the Northern countryside to schools busy towns in the Midlands and of course London if that's where you want to be.

We use our site to put schools in touch with our teachers. We build a profile of you and this is then available to schools across the country. Schools that think you'd fit in well with their environment contact us and we arrange for telephone interviews with those schools you think you'd like to work at.

Finding you the right teaching opportunity is the easy part. We never forget that our teachers are coming across the globe and the responsibility we have to make all the arrangements as easy for you as possible. Highlights: We prepare all referencing, CRB checks and qualification assessment/validation on our teachers.

All employment and academic history going back 5 years is checked for us independently by an industry leading screening bureau and a certificate for this issued to the school.

We cover as much of the administration as the school or teacher needs in terms of preparing and getting documents couriered internationally.

We process Work Permit applications on behalf of the teacher where needed.

We collect the teacher from the airport and cover all arrangements and costs for their initial accommodation near the school.

We assist the teacher with opening a UK bank account and obtaining a National Insurance number.

We provide a UK mobile phone on arrival with a number the teacher has before they leave their home country so that they are contactable by the school, Bluewave and their relatives back home.

Qualifications: The minimum qualification needed for this position is one of the following:
- Bachelors/Masters of Education
- Postgraduate teaching qualification
- Teaching Certification or QTS (UK)
