Blessed with year round sunshine, there is no "wrong time" to take a TEFL course in Sydney. Even during the coldest months of winter, the average daily sunshine is six hours. The seasons here are reverse to those in the northern hemisphere, with the high summer months from December to February, and the main winter months of June to August. Springtime traditionally begins in September, bringing with it festivals and shows.

As Christmas is in the middle of the high summer months, parties and celebrations last until the New Year. To back up the festivities, Australia Day is on January 26th. Expect no shortage of parties and famous Australian barbies during the summer, especially during the party season.
