Description: The Teaching in China programme is an excellent way to learn about the Chinese culture and customs. This programme gives the opportunity to teach English to the Chinese and share your culture with them and you can learn Mandarin Chinese from them. Many schools in China offer Chinese language courses for foreigners that you can take in your spare time. This programme also gives an opportunity to make many friends with both the locals and other foreign teachers and build useful networks. It is especially helpful if you want to pursue an international career in the future, as China is a rapidly developing country and is playing a big role in the world economy and politics.

The positions in China are for teaching English in schools and universities. Teaching time in China is usually 12 -19 hours a week. Each teaching period lasts from 40 minutes in primary schools and to one hour in the university.

For your work at a public school, college or university, you will be paid in addition to free housing.

The participants are expected to apply at least 3 months prior to their preferred start date. The fall semester begins in September and the spring semester begins late February.

Qualifications:
- Applicant needs to be a native speaker of English
- Have a college degree
- Have some experience in teaching
- Have a passion for teaching and be healthy.

Salary / Pay: For your work at a public school, college or university, you will likely be paid between 3,000 and 5,000RMB/month (roughly US$400-$620) in addition to free housing.
