Description: Cap Cana Heritage School is a private, secular educational institution located in Cap Cana, Dominican Republic, located on the eastern tip of Hispaniola. Spanning from preschool to 11th grade (with one grade added each year), our project - based curriculum aims at developing fluency in the English language, while developing students into well-rounded global citizens.

We are now seeking experienced teachers for 2008-2009 academic school year for an 8th through 11th grade science teacher.

We are especially interested in educators whom have exhibited the ability to push students to high academic and personal achievement.

Qualifications: Who are we looking for?
* Bachelors degree plus at least two years of teaching experience (Masters degree preferred)
* Educational philosophy that matches with that of Cap Cana Heritage School
* Demonstrated success at established a culture of high academic and behavioral expectations
* Experience in student-centered learning
* Collaborate with other teachers to develop curriculum to develop improved classroom instruction, student performance, and discipline

Minimum Education: Bachelor of Arts
