Description: Taiwan is an undiscovered and largely untraveled destination; it surprises many with its emerging appearance as a fast moving Asian country.

As a tropical island it boasts diverse landscapes and excitement for all who have the fortune to live and work there. From the culturally specific hot springs and night markets to hiking trails, beaches and city life, it is a gentle fusion of east meets west.

Shane English School Taiwan are currently looking for qualified and enthusiastic teachers to welcome to their island of miniature magnitude!

We have over 40 schools in and around Taipei and up and down the west coast of Taiwan with teaching positions starting throughout the year.

"In Region" Schools in and around Taipei offer the Asian experience with the additional comfort of other foreigners and western style supermarkets, restaurants and bars. There are a lot of experienced teachers in Taipei, therefore new teachers have plenty of support both socially and academically.

"Out Region" Schools are spread throughout the island and generally have fewer teachers than the Taipei schools. The majority are over an hour South of Taipei by train, bus or plane. The rural locations provide excellent opportunities for teachers to immerse themselves in Taiwan's culture and language.

Qualifications:
* Candidates MUST be CELTA qualified or equivalent
* Native speaker
* A UK/Irish/US/Canadian/NZ/Australian/RSA
* A graduate (with a full university degree)
* No teaching experience necessary

Salary / Pay: NTD 42,000 - NTD 70,000 monthly salary
