What you can expect in Greece Salary: You will receive a bonus of approximately one third of one month's salary at Christmas and Easter. Accommodation: During your orientation and practical training, self-catering accommodation will be arranged for you. This will cost EUR 25 per night (for your first 3 nights). After this, the majority of teachers will transfer straight to their school where accommodation will be provided - in some cases this will be free (excluding bills), in others you will pay rent of approximately EUR 200 per month. Occasionally there is the opportunity to spend up to 3 weeks in Greece between the orientation and starting work. In this case, accommodation in a dorm in a budget hostel should cost approximately EUR 25 per night. Arrival: You will be met at Athens airport and transferred to your accommodation in Corinth. The following day you will start your 2-day orientation which will include practical teaching tips. On completing your orientation you will be taken to the airport, train or bus station where you will take public transportation to the town of your school. You will be met by a representative of the school on your arrival in the town. Locations: Schools are located throughout Greece. Contract length: 9 months starting in September.
