Description:
EF English First is recruiting qualified English language teachers to take up posts within its network of schools in Saudi Arabia. EF English First is a network of over 200 language schools operating in non-English speaking countries. EF's schools in Saudi Arabia are based in Al Khobar, Riyadh, Jeddah, Yanbu, Taif and Dammam. EF teachers in Saudi Arabia will be expected to teach a variety of learner groups including teenagers and adults. EF teachers will be following EF's curriculum for all courses taught.
Qualifications:
* Candidates must have recognized teaching English as a foreign language certification, like the EF Certificate in TEFL, which contains a minimum of 6 hours observed teaching practice (equivalent qualifications like the CELTA or SIT TESOL are also acceptable). EFL classroom experience is also desirable, but not essential. In some cases, extensive relevant TEFL experience can be considered in lieu of formal TEFL qualifications. * Candidates should be motivated, enthusiastic and open to new experiences. Salary / Pay: EF English First in Saudi Arabia offers a complete package which includes shared accommodation and a salary paid in local currency which is equivalent to approximately USD 1600 gross per calendar month. There is no income tax in Saudi Arabia, the only deduction from salary being a 2.5% social tax. Flights both to and from country of origin are also included. EF also offers thirty working days holiday per twelve-month contract in addition to public holidays. Candidates should be aware that if they are planning to travel with dependents, EF English First can not offer additional allowances such as school fees for dependents.
