Description:
3rd and 4th Grade, full time teaching position working in a school environment - teachers are responsible for lesson plans, oversight of teachers' assistants, and all other areas of classroom management. 5.5 contact hours daily : using US based curricular texts and the International Primary Curriculum. Teachers creatively develop a classroom environment that allows students ample opportunities to learn, develop critical thinking, experience, compare and contrast local culture with their country of origin, using the creative arts, humanities, and sciences as springboards to a broad and fulfilling educational experience, supporting the learning of basic and necessary academic skills.

Qualifications:
Openings for the 2009 (Jan - Dec) School year for certified teachers seeking an academic environment along with ESL teaching opportunities in a growing program. Candidates must be certified as elementary school teachers, with at least one year teaching experience in a public or private school.
