Highlights: Positions are available now for our Izmir (2 branches), Kusadasi, Usak and Denizli Schools. A salary package that includes accommodation and insurance is provided at most branches. A Working Visa and Ministry of Education Approval is necessary and will be processed upon your acceptance of hire by ENGLSIH LIFE.

Qualifications: Our English Life schools are licensed by the Ministry of Education, and all applicants must possess a minimum of a 2-year University/College Degree, however a 4-year BA or BS Degree is preferred. If you only posses a 2-year degree or if your Bachelors Degree is in another field other than Teaching Enlgish you must also possess a TEFL/TESOL Certificate.

The TEFOL/TESOL Certificate can be obtained online and it is our preference that our teachers take both a TEFL/TESL certification module and a special grammar module. Please contact us for further information. A successful candidate is an individual who has an outgoing personality with the ability to work as a team. All teachers will also receive an intensive 1-week teachers training program, where you will be fully trained in Teaching English via the Callan Method; this will be completed at the time of hire and before working as an English Teacher. A teacher must pass the Teacher's Training Program in order to begin teaching with English Life.

The Callan Method of teaching English requires a sense of urgency, the use of miming and gesticulation, and the presentation of a clear accent with excellent pronunciation skills. A qualified Candidate must be willing to sign a 1-year Contract with English Life. The contract will be assessed after 1-year for renewal if both the teacher and English Life choose to renew it.

Minimum Education: Diploma/Certification

Salary / Pay: Our teachers salary is calculated on either an hourly or salary-package basis. This varies by school and location, and will be discussed after an applicant's application package has been assessed. All teaching positions have a 6-month probationary period with an increase in pay provided after successfully competing the probationary period.
