Length of Position: 10-12 months; departs late-December
Description:
Teach math, science and English in public high schools throughout Rwanda. Live in school provided housing either on the school campus or nearby. Living allowance approx. USD100/month from government and USD100/month from volunteer stipend payments.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required * Native English speaker * Comfortable working in cross-cultural environments * Independent worker * Good people skills and organizational skills * Flexibility and creativity in problem solving * Teaching or volunteer experience * Interest in international education and development * Willingness to live with a family * 25 hours ESL service required before departure (after acceptance to the program).
