Description:
The Dubai government seeks to start a school inspectorate that reviews both local UAE schools as well as private international schools. The project will start in August 2008 and last for approximately 2 years. School inspectors are needed who combine a knowledge of best practice within a modern school setting as well as knowledge of Arabic language and culture. This is an opportunity to be a part of a massive school inspection and improvement process in a very safe and fascinating part of the world. The generous employment package is from 350,000 to 450,000 dirhams/annum (appx 3.5 dirhams/US$, and 7 dirhams/GPB£) as a lump sum which covers housing, flights, school fees and salary. All payments are tax free in the UAE. A laptop and mobile phone as well as medical insurance are provided.

Qualifications:
You must be a qualified/certified primary (elementary) or secondary (middle/high school) teacher who possesses teacher training such as - Bachelor of Education - Post Graduate Certificate in Education - Higher Diploma in Education Candidates should have experience in school leadership, as a school inspector, or school improver. Candidates should understand best practices in education. You must have 5 or more years of experience within a regular classroom environment. These are not English as a Foreign Language posts. **Candidates must be fluent in both written and verbal English and Arabic**
