Length of Position: 2 year contract

Description: The top British school in Dubai, established over 10 years ago, requires an English teacher for the 2008 school year. One of the few non-profit schools, salary is dependent on experience but the will be between 14,000-16,000 dhs/month plus housing, utilities, flights yearly, and more.

This is a very academic school, and strong academic results are expected, but a holistic approach is also employed to cater to the whole child. This is a happy and well run school with a supportive management and very little staff turnover (usually less than 3% per year).

Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in English or related subject
- Post Graduate Certificate in Education or B'Ed/M'Ed
- At least 4 years of UK curriculum English Language/Lit teaching experience within the past 4 years
- Experience teaching A-level English within the past 2 years with good A-level results
- English mother-tongue
- A strong, consistent work history
