Description: Teachers considering teaching in China have the unique opportunity to see the sleeping giant awaken to live in a culture that has recently been sheltered from the western world now gradually become open to western business in its own methodical way. China's population represents about 20% of the world's population and is the fastest growing economy in the world. Working in China will allow you to better appreciate this fascinating and important country in a way not available to the average tourist!

This school is located in one of the largest green spaces in Shanghai. The school first opened as a Pre-school to provide an international education, based on an American curriculum, for the expatriate community in Shanghai. Since then they have been dedicated to developing a curriculum that is child centered, activity based, and focused on the development of the whole child. They believe that in the formative years it is very important for children to develop the appropriate social skills that build the foundation for future learning and social growth.

Qualifications: Teacher training such as Bachelors in Education, PGCE, HDE or similar.

Teacher Training + Experience from one of the following countries;
U.K., Ireland, USA, Canada, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand.

Applicants should also be native english speakers.
