Description:
Two energetic and enthusiastic EFL teachers needed for the British Training Institute (part of CfBT Education Trust) in Muscat. Opportunity to work in an expanding training centre as part of a friendly team of professionals in the most attractive part of the Middle East. Details: CfBT has had an ELT centre, the British Training Institute, in Muscat for five years. Besides General English, the BTI offers Young Learners, EAP, ESP and teacher training courses to the public and private sectors. We are seeking to recruit three teachers to join our team at the BTI and teach a variety of levels and age groups, possibly to include Young Learners. The posts will appeal to teachers who are interested in developing their skills through teaching general English courses, English for Special Purposes courses and IELTS preparation courses. Oman is generally considered to be the most attractive and interesting country work location in the Gulf. There are ample opportunities for outdoor sports such as scuba diving, mountain walking and spectacular off-road driving. There are few safer countries in the world than Oman. The general atmosphere is extremely relaxed, friendly and welcoming to other cultures. The cost-of-living is lower than other countries in the region and teachers enjoy living and working in Muscat.
Qualifications:
Qualifications and experience: Essential: 1. Native English speaker 2. Undergraduate degree 3. Minimum 3 years' post degree teaching experience 4. Experience of working overseas Desirable: 1. English language teaching qualification (CELTA or equivalent) 2. Experience of teaching Young Learners

A remuneration package, which allows for a reasonable standard of living in the prevailing conditions in Oman, includes:
