Length of Position: 2 years

Description: GEMS World Academy is a new generation IB curriculum school in Dubai, welcoming students from a diverse range of academic backgrounds. The expansive campus features an exciting array of facilities to inspire learning, while a comprehensive education programme will help students fulfill their potential to become confident, competent, skilled young people.

Due to rapid growth in pupil numbers we seek applications from Elementary and Secondary teachers (Maths, Science, English, ESL and Humanities) for positions starting immediately.

Successful candidates will have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience and be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to exceptionally high standards of learning and teaching. A track record of high achievement as a teacher and proven success with student learning and progress is essential. Candidates must be able to contribute to a rich extra-curricular programme and be committed to continuous improvement. Experience with the IB curriculum is a significant advantage.

Qualifications: Applicants need to have a teaching qualification from their own country and ideally will have at least 1 year experience, although newly qualified teachers will be considered.

Salary / Pay: Salary is dependent on experience and competitive within the International and local market. Housing, flights, medical insurance and relocation allowance is included.
