Assistant Language Teacher

Length of Position: One Year

Description: The land of the rising sun is a contrast between the old and the new. You have probably heard that said before but now is the time to come and experience it at one of the many schools and institutions that Aclipse has partnered with in Japan. With a variety of teaching opportunities, Aclipse recruiters are able to match you with the position that suits you best! Positions are available across Japan with many in the Kanto area.

Become an ALT in a Japanese Public School!

Be a cultural ambassador for your country while assisting a Japanese home room teacher to teach English. Responsibilities can include:

- Co-teaching or leading conversational English classes that involve interactive teaching strategies
- Preparing teaching materials and activities
- Participating in school festivals, sports, and ceremonies
- Assisting in the day-to-day tasks of the classroom

Positions start in late March/early April all applications must be received by December 15th.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Native English speaker
- 10 years of education in an English-speaking country prior to college
- Valid passport from USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa
- One year commitment
- No criminal record
- An interest in Japan and teaching
- Experience with children preferred
