Teaching in the local primary schools allows teachers to gain international teaching experience while experiencing a fascinating culture and earning a lucrative salary. Location: Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. Abu Dhabi, the 2nd largest city in the UAE after Dubai, offers a beautiful climate year round and is located on an island on the coast of the Persian Gulf. Al Ain is the fourth largest city in the UAE and is a beautiful natural oasis.

Student Level: The majority of placements are in primary school with a limited number of middle and high school placements.

Additional Details:
- Tax free salary between 12,300 and 20,400 AED per month (4000-6300CAD or 3300-5500USD)
- Ample vacation time (approx. 2 months during the summer) + all national holidays.

Requirements
- University Undergraduate Degree (in any discipline)
- Licensed Teacher (certified to teach in your state/province)
- Native English Speaker

Minimum Education: Bachelors

Salary / Pay: Monthly Salary: AED 12,300 - 20,400 Tax Free (approx 4,000-6,300 CAD) Working Hours: 08:00-17:00, Sunday to Thursday Visa: Sponsored by the school

Qualifications for teaching in Abu Dhabi Teachers interested in working in Abu Dhabi must be licensed to teach in their state/province. Teachers who possess a teaching license that has been valid within the past three years will be considered for a position. Retired teachers are also welcome to apply. Teachers who have an undergraduate degree but no teaching credentials will not be considered for teaching jobs in Abu Dhabi. Teaching English as a Second Language certificates cannot replace a teaching license, accordingly teachers possessing a TESL certificate or equivalent alone will not be considered.
