This brand new facility is located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The curriculum is ranked amongst the most advanced in the world (based on British Columbia curriculum), while emphasizing mastery of Arabic and the application of Islam to all aspects of life. The curriculum is designed according to international standards emphasizing inquiry, stimulating curiosity, and fostering comprehension and creativity rather than memorization. The school is currently looking for 15 teachers - 10 male & 5 female teachers Job Details Start Date: ASAP Contract Duration: 2 years Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia School Type: Private schools Student Level: Kindergarten & Primary Working Hours: 6 hrs/day; 30hrs/week (not including lunch);185-190 days/year School Hours:7:30-3:30, M-F Visa:Sponsored by school Housing:Single furnished apartment provided Vacation: 7-10 (mid-term); 4-6 weeks (summer); 2 days (Christmas); 7-10 days (Eid-al Adha); 1 day (National Day) Airfare: Round trip provided by school Additional Benefits: Advance salary up to SR3000 to help with settling in; 50% discount on tuition for teachers with children; Baggage allowance; interview expense reimbursement (SR750)

Qualifications:
Teacher qualifications and requirements - All full time teachers must hold a degree from a recognized university in a related subject and/or teaching certification. - Teachers must be eligible to be certified by the British Columbia Ministry of Education. Most teaching certifications across Canada are easily recognized in B.C. - Candidates from the American system may also apply. - Upon successful completion of the interview process, all teachers will receive assistance in obtaining the appropriate certification from the Ministry of Education in B.C.
