Volunteer in Nepal and discover the roof of the world! Nepal is desperately poor and any help you can give will be incredibly appreciated and worthwhile. You really will make a difference to their lives. There is a choice of volunteer placements on this programme, including: * Teaching in a local school * Teaching in a monastery & learning Buddhism * Working at an orphanage * Working at a health post or in a hospital * Construction
Highlights:
Nepal is known as the 'Abode of the Gods', Nepal is in a state of natural beauty, with the highest mountains in the world and is renowned for its spectacular views. Nepal is separated into two religious groups: Indo-Argans and Mangloid. The main language is Nepali, however there are twenty other languages, which are divided into numerous dialects.
Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 18 years, maximum decided on participants health. - If you would like to teach English, you may find it helpful to have a TEFL qualification. Please have a look at the online TEFL courses we have available on our website if you do not already have this qualification.
