Teach Away is currently accepting applications for teaching jobs in the Middle East to teach within the Abu Dhabi public school system. Teaching in the local primary and secondary schools allows teachers to gain international teaching experience while experiencing a fascinating culture and earning a lucrative salary. Teachers will be part of a major education reform in the Emirates, and should be willing to take on accompanying challenges. At least 2 years of teaching experience is required for these positions.

The cities of Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Madinet Zayed are equidistant from one another, approximately a 90-minute drive apart. These regions are considered safe, tolerant, and the weather is hot year round. While Abu Dhabi is considered a cosmopolitan big city with entertainment, culture, and nightlife expected of any international city, Al Ain has all the conveniences of a big city with a more outdoorsy lifestyle and relaxed pace. Madinet Zayed is a growing town where community and traditions are important.

Location: Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Gharbia. Abu Dhabi, the 2nd largest city in the UAE after Dubai, offers a beautiful climate year round and is located on an island on the coast of the Arabian Gulf. Al Ain is the fourth largest city in the UAE and is a beautiful natural oasis.
Student Level: Kindergarten to Grade 3; High School
Working Hours: 07:30-14:00, Sunday to Thursday
Visa: Sponsored by the school

Housing: Single housing provided + furniture allowance; or furnished apartment
Flight: Round trip flight reimbursed upon arrival; Airfare provided for candidate, spouse and up to 3 dependents
