Description:
Teacher Advisors work as part of the School Improvement Partnership (SIP) team which is involved in education reform. SIP assists government schools to raise standards, improve the quality of teaching and learning and support and coach staff through continuous professional development. Teacher Advisors are responsible for relationships with all teachers in their subject specialism. Teacher Advisors are based in a single school and work with local teachers in one core subject (Science, Maths, English, ICT, ESL or Special Needs/Behaviour Management). The position is challenging and rewarding and is best suited to hard working, passionate and motivated teachers who are not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get involved!
Qualifications:
You need to have at least 5 years teaching experience and hold one of the following: - Diploma of Teaching - Bachelor of Education - PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate Education). Experience teaching in the Middle East is a bonus. PPP experience is also a bonus.
