Description:
An experienced Special Needs teacher is needed to work with a school improvement programme in Abu Dhabi to help local Emirati teachers improve their teaching. You MUST have teacher training such as a Bachelor of Education /PGCE/HDE and at least 3 years of experience as a Special Educational Needs teacher. Additionally you should have some experience of providing training or mentoring to other teachers. Start date: ASAP * Candidates must be male due to local cultural requirements as you will be reforming a boy's school. - The location is 20 minutes (a short drive) outside of Abu Dhabi City in a suburb. - Free 1 or 2 bedroom furnished apartment provided - flights for self and family (spouse/2 children) - 1 year contract - starting salary of 190,000+ AED (CAD 55,000 Tax Free) - school fee allowance for up to 2 dependent children Please send your CV. Qualifications:
* You must have teacher training such as a Bachelors of Education and qualification/certification for Special Educational Needs. * You must have 3 years of experience as a Special Educational Needs teacher, and experience training/mentoring other teachers * You must have training/experience from the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, US or South Africa. * You must be male, obviously!
