Length of Position: 1 year renewable

Description: An experienced Special Needs teacher is needed to work with a school improvement programme in Abu Dhabi to help local Emirati teachers improve their teaching.

You MUST have teacher training such as a Bachelor of Education /PGCE/HDE and at least 3 years of experience as a Special Educational Needs teacher. Additionally you should have some experience of providing training or mentoring to other teachers.

Start date: ASAP

* Candidates must be male due to local cultural requirements as you will be reforming a boy's school.
- The location is 20 minutes (a short drive) outside of Abu Dhabi City in a suburb.
- Free 1 or 2 bedroom furnished apartment provided

- starting salary of 190,000+ AED (CAD 55,000 Tax Free)
- school fee allowance for up to 2 dependent children

Qualifications:
* You must have teacher training such as a Bachelors of Education and qualification/certification for Special Educational Needs.
* You must have 3 years of experience as a Special Educational Needs teacher, and experience training/mentoring other teachers
* You must have training/experience from the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, US or South Africa.
* You must be male, obviously!

Minimum Education: Bachelors

Salary / Pay: 190,000 AED/year tax free (about USD 52,000) plus free furnished housing, flights, school fee allowance for dependent children and more.

This Program is open to American, Australian, Canadian, Kiwi and South African Participants.
