Length of Position: 2 year contract

Description: A fabulous and growing UK curriculum school that is part of a well respected group requires a Maths teacher immediately. With a really supportive Head TEacher, you will join a happy bunch of well qualified teachers if you are selected for this post.

The school is located slightly outside of Cairo (25km) so you can enjoy the best of both worlds.

Places to visit include: Khan al-Khalili , one of the largest markets in the world. It is situated within Islamic Cairo, a World Heritage Site that attracts travellers and locals alike, The Pyramids at Giza, the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities and Old Cairo

Qualifications:
We recruit only qualified/certified Maths teachers from the following countries:

* United Kingdom
* USA
* Canada
* Ireland
* Australia
* New Zealand
* South Africa

Teachers must be fully trained to teach in state schools in one of these countries and possess full qualification/certification with teacher training such as a Bachelors or Masters of Education, PGCE, Higher Diploma in Education, etc. South African teachers with only a diploma of education will have very limited opportunities as most Ministries of Education require a Bachelors degree in Education, and do not like the word Diploma.

Please note that these are not jobs teaching English as a foreign language and therefore a TEFL certificate and/or non-educational Bachelors degree alone is not enough.

Salary / Pay: appx 1500 British Pounds, tax free, plus free furnished housing and flights. (or you can take a housing allowance).
