EF Englishtown is looking for a bright, independent, experienced ESL instructor to teach large-group workshops and lead Life Club programming to young professionals age 20-35 in Nanjing, China. This is an ideal position for an individual who is a self-managed self-starter, and can take a leadership role in the academic operations at the center. Candidates with prior knowledge of EF and Englishtown would be preferred. Englishtown is opening a new concept school in Nanjing, and will offer online learning centers, workshop classes and Life Club activities. This role will involve helping to build the academic team from the ground-up at this new center, including teaching workshop classes and developing Life Clubs. This position will report to the CM and has the potential to develop into a Director of Studies or regional academic or business development positions. Roles will include developing Life Club programming, implementing and teaching workshop classes, and running the academic operations of the school. Please note: This position is in Nanjing, China. Job Description * Develop Life Club curriculum and concept in new concept school * Host life club activities and social events * Organize workshop classes and help to arrange academic schedule * Conduct classes and workshops in the center + online and offsite if required * Host life club activities and social events * Help enhance academic materials such as activities handouts, etc, * Run in-center student and/or sales related activities such as EFT, PSA (personal study advice), online study clinics * Participant in in-center and offsite sales/marketing activities, * Assist with renewal and referral activities * Preparation for classes Important: Please apply online via our website and please specify in the 'Additional Comments' box that you are interested in the Englishtown Nanjing position.
Qualifications:
Ideal Candidate * Bachelors degree * TEFL certification * Native English speaker from native English speaking country Experience: * Experience developing and leading life club activities * Qualified and experienced adult ESL teacher Skills: * Solid organization and project management skills * Presentation skills, and ability to lead groups Qualities: * Self-starter, and ability to work independently * Self-managed individual who can work well with a remote manager * Entrepreneurial, able to develop new concepts
