Description: An International Primary School in Abuja, Nigeria has an exciting and rewarding Early Years Teaching opportunity. The position is to start as soon as possible and the school is looking for a qualified Early Years Foundation Stage Coordinator.

The school is a private, brand new purpose built International School for boys and girls of Nursery and Primary Years 1-6, which fully commenced operations in September 2009. Situated in the purpose built capital city of Abuja (population 1 million), in the centre of Nigeria, the school was created to meet the needs of British, Nigerian and International students living in Abuja and beyond who desire a British education. The school can accommodate 500 pupils and also offers the National Curriculum of England and Wales with plans to adopt the new 2011 curriculum as soon as possible.

Qualifications: We are seeking UK qualified, enthusiastic and dynamic teachers to work in our Reception/Early Years department. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a passion for excellence, and have the creativity and drive to work with colleagues to secure the future development of the school. Candidates who are well experienced in Early Years are encouraged to apply as the successful candidate will be required to undertake training for NQTs and TAs within the Early Years setting.
