Description:
Minerva School, is a small bilingual school located in the center of the historical city of Gracias, Lempira Honduras. The school has a total of 175 students, and has all grade levels from pre-kinder up to tenth grade. Our education at Minerva stands under three basic principles: - 100% Bilingual Education - Civic-Cultural Values and - Christian Formation At Minerva, we are seeking to hire qualified responsible grade teachers for pre-school and elementary, as well as specialized teachers for middle school. The school provides a desirable working environment as well as an opportunity to immerse into the Honduran culture.
Highlights:
The administration at Minerva School, looks after our foreigner staff. The school provides for housing with basic furniture included, as well as a monthly salary. The school also provides for airport pick-up at the beginning and end of the school year, and also provides for passport permits to reside in the country. The school's administration is very open to communication with teachers.
Qualifications:
To teach at Minerva, we require a bachelors degree and experience in teaching. It is very important that the participants are willing to commit to a full school year with their students. We prefer, but is not totally necessary, to have a teaching certificate and any king of teaching abroad experience.
